Job summary

Guardian Glass, part of Koch companies, is seeking Production Supervisors – Day Shift to lead a float glass manufacturing team in Carleton, Michigan. You will drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement while guiding a high-performing crew through 12-hour day schedules.

You will oversee production, plan with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely orders and product quality. Strong leadership, manufacturing experience, and CI participation are essential.

Guardian Glass is seeking Production Supervisors – Day Shift - to join our Float Glass manufacturing team in Carleton, Michigan.

As a Production Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in fostering a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and employee development while leading one of the most advanced float glass manufacturing facilities in the industry.

Must be able to work 12-hour shifts from 6a – 6p with a 2 on – 2 off – 3 on schedule.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate production with 7 - 13 employees in a specified area
• Promote our self-driven safety culture
• Manage labor, prioritize projects and daily operations
• Communicate effectively to meet deadlines, ensure follow up, and manage goals
• Work hands-on with production and planning teams as needed to fulfill orders in a timely manner, elevate issues, and make decisions
• Ensure quality products are produced
• Partner with contractors and cross-functional teams
• Monitor production systems and enter data, correct errors, and control key screens
