Production Supervisor - Day and Night Shift

Description

• Lead and coach a team of converting operators to meet production goals, coordinating or assisting with activities of team members as necessary.
• Monitor processes to address issues, minimize downtime, and maximize efficiency. Seek out opportunities to improve manufacturing practices, anticipate inefficiencies, and bring constructive solutions.
• Enforce quality control measures to meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions, collaborating with maintenance teams and other relevant departments.
• Train and mentor employees.
• Support an environment aligned with ProAmpac's core values, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, production, documentation, reporting, and other manufacturing protocols.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and report safety hazards or concerns.
• Communicate production status and performance trends to management.
• Assist in analyzing department costs, investigating variances, implementing corrective actions, and communicating these to teams.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments such as production scheduling, maintenance, and other supervisors to ensure timely production and order prioritization.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

• HS/GED required; AS preferred.
• 2-4 years of related experience required.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.

• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills (verbal, written, presentations) with leadership, staff, and clients.
• Proactive with sound judgment and decision-making skills, capable of identifying problems and developing solutions.
• Self-confident, motivated, and professional, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
