Job Summary:

Elite Connector partnered with a client to seek a highly motivated and experienced Production/Machining Supervisor to lead and coordinate day-to-day operations within their Machining, Deburr, Assembly, and Parts Marking departments. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of 40-50 employees ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

***DAY SHIFT = 6:30am-4pm***

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of CNC and manual machining operations + Assembly line, Deburr, and parts marking operations).
• Monitor production schedules, adjust resources as needed, and ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment in compliance with company standards.
• Provide hands-on support, technical guidance, and training to machining personnel.
• Ensure quality standards are met through regular inspection of machined parts and process audits.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve process or equipment issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity, reduce downtime, and improve workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, production output, and machine utilization.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support employee development.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certificate in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
• 5+ years of machining experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machines, tooling, setup, and machining processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
• Proficient in MS Office and manufacturing software (e.g., ERP, MES).
