Your Role

The Production Supervisor- C Shift (8:40 PM- 6:40 AM) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating manufacturing operations for a product portfolio of life science filtration membranes or devices. This role involves managing a team of production workers, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This position involves overseeing daily production operations and managing a team of production workers, while establishing and maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for directing the implementation and ongoing maintenance of manufacturing methods and standard operating procedures on the production floor. Key responsibilities also include monitoring workflow, troubleshooting production issues, and driving continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. The role requires training and developing staff, ensuring full cGMP compliance, maintaining accurate and compliant production records, and collaborating cross-functionally to support smooth operations. Success in this role hinges on strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The supervisor will be expected to build and sustain a high-performing manufacturing support team with a balanced focus on employee safety, product quality, and delivery performance.

Duties Include:

  • Drive continuous improvement efforts in productivity and performance metrics using lean tools and operator engagement.
  • Accomplishes manufacturing goals by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring and appraising job results, coaching/counselling team members, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure that KPI measurable are met consistently (i.e. MPS, back order, etc.)
  • Maintain product integrity and ensure that all product issued to work centers is properly accounted for and tracked.
  • Actively manage employee performance through coaching and counselling, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Interact with other departments to obtain required support and foster an atmosphere of teamwork.
  • Keeps management informed on any production issues that may impact production schedule.
  • Lead risk assessments and quality and safety audits to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation measures.

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years progressive experience within an FDA-regulated industry or manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years in a leadership position or a position of increasing responsibilities with demonstrated leadership skills and responsibilities.
  • High School degree or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of QMS, ISO and cGMP.
  • Strong leadership skills w/ability to motivate, inspire, and build a high performing team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to clearly communicate issues and areas for improvement to management and direct reports in a timely and easy to understand manner.
  • Hands-on team player with high energy.
  • Collaborative team member and leader to achieve operational safety, quality, and output goals.
  • Proven problem-solving ability and troubleshooting skills.
  • Drive change and challenge the status quo in a respectful, professional manner.
