Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Production Supervisor for Commercial Production on our Rockford, IL site. You will lead daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery, while coordinating with procurement, maintenance, and quality teams.

You will supervise staff, drive continuous improvement, and manage KPIs. A degree and supervisory background are required, with a competitive benefits package and potential bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Basic Mathematical Skills
• Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
• Full Professional Proficiency: Able to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately for professional needs.
• High Reasoning: Solve problems with varying variables and follow complex instructions.
• History of successful supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities of the production floor on the shift, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Ensure OSHA, FDA, cGMP, and employment law compliance.
• Lead safety culture and drive safety improvements; investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate operational challenges and take corrective actions for Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and Personnel.
• Plan and coordinate with procurement, maintenance, warehouse and quality to meet service levels.
• Oversee staffing and vacation coverage to meet staffing needs and service levels.
• Participate in hiring interviews and provide development feedback.
• Train staff using TPS/TWI methods and evaluate performance.
• Own and monitor KPIs using visual boards and line communications.
