WHAT YOU'LL DO: As a supervisor, you will lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills while managing a team to achieve daily production goals. You will be responsible for ensuring products meet Harmon's quality standards and maintaining accountability for the overall quality of the production line. This role involves managing time and attendance, driving accountability within the team, and ensuring accurate labor tracking. You will interpret blueprints, ensuring specifications are followed, and contribute actively to Leader Tier meetings to drive operational success. Additionally, you will promote a safety-first culture, ensuring adherence to safe working practices, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Effective communication will be key, as you provide clear and assertive feedback to team members while fostering engagement and motivation. By taking ownership of quality procedures and driving improvements, you will help ensure the team consistently meets and exceeds production and quality expectations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in the curtain wall industry (highly preferred)
  • Basic math and reading skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Excel, and experience using Smartsheets
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and leadership
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to contributing to a safe and positive workplace
  • Capability to push, pull, and lift between 30 and 60 pounds
  • Strong time management skills to meet production schedules
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills to drive solutions
  • Proficiency in understanding and interpreting fabrication drawings and using calipers
  • Extreme ownership, with the ability to take full responsibility for team performance and results
  • Ability to lead by example, modeling professionalism and accountability
  • Competence in managing through systems to drive consistency and efficiency in operations
