The Job At A Glance

This position supervises and coordinates the work of employees on production and assembly lines, along with instructing and training associates to rapidly learn production methods. Responsibilities include ensuring all department safety, quality, efficiency, and production targets are met daily, and that other typical supervisory tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner.

A Typical Day

1st Shift - 5:00am-1:30pm (Peak Schedule Varies)

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of your team
  • Troubleshoot machine issues, work cross functionally to find opportunities, and ensure departmental compliance on maintenance schedules
  • Work with the operations management team regarding staffing needs
  • Engage with employees regarding performance, compliance, and development
  • Keep the employees energized and focused on the work at hand
  • Keep your department organized and clean
  • Participate on company committees and projects
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Associate or bachelor’s degree in operations management, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma, CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), are a plus.
  • English reading/speaking proficiency is Required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish Preferred
