Job summary

Thomson Power Systems, a Regal Rexnord company, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the new Arlington, TX area facility. You will drive Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Performance, shaping the department’s long-term vision and working with plant leadership to execute strategic goals.

You’ll use Lean, Six Sigma and value stream methods to improve processes, lead daily accountability, and manage budgets and staffing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated financial and business acumen.
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools (5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, and problem-solving methodologies).
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or equivalent.
• Exposure to Engineer-to-Order and/or Configure-to-Order manufacturing environments.
• Exposure to low-voltage and/or medium-voltage electrical products.

Responsibilities

• Lead production teams to achieve strategic goals.
• Drive a zero-incident culture through EHS initiatives compliant with OSHA and EPA requirements.
• Lead development and execution of long-term value stream improvements.
• Conduct daily accountability meetings with direct reports and supporting functions.
• Engage employees in kaizen events to promote continuous improvement.
• Use Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools to solve operational problems.
• Champion EH&S initiatives prioritizing employee and product safety.
• Lead the value stream management cadence to drive SQDC results for the site.
• Manage budgets and spending to support long- and short-term goals.
• Review and approve overtime and vacations as needed to meet production targets.
• Maintain and monitor daily production metrics and communicate performance to site leadership.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales to ensure customer success.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors aligned with Regal Rexnord values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Thomson Power Systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the Power Generation Industry for over 50 years. As we expand into a new facility near Arlington, TX, we're seeking an exceptional Production Supervisor to work closely with our Plant Manager and the other leaders to build and grow this new facility.

The Production Supervisor will manage all related manufacturing and production activities for the department through the Regal Business System (RBS), which enables continuous improvement throughout the value stream. You will lead Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost Performance to exceed our stakeholders' expectations and enable growth in the business. Key Responsibilities

• Lead production teams to achieve strategic goals
• Drive a zero‑incident culture through effective EHS initiatives compliant with OSHA and EPA requirements
• Lead the development and execution of long‑term value stream improvements
• Conduct daily accountability meetings with direct reports and supporting functions, focusing on value stream performance and leading indicators (Tier meetings, Gemba walks)
• Engage employees in kaizen events to promote continuous improvement and support a progressive organizational culture
• Use Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools to solve operational problems
• Champion EH&S initiatives by prioritizing employee and product safety
• Lead the value stream management cadence (daily/weekly/monthly) to drive SQDC results for the site
• Manage budgets and spending to support both long‑and short‑term business goals
• Review and approve overtime and vacations as needed to meet production targets
• Maintain and monitor daily production metrics, including customer demand, past‑due orders, and backlog
• Communicate key production performance metrics to site leadership
• Partner effectively with site leaders (Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales) to ensure customer success
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors aligned with Regal Rexnord values
• Perform other duties as assigned
