Responsibilities

• Assign work, monitor schedule adherence, and coach employees to meet production, quality, safety, and service measures.
• Train new employees in production procedures and reinforce safe work practices.
• Inspect linen for quality and assist with inventories and issue resolution.
• Complete shift and weekly reports and coordinate with HR on evaluations and staffing needs.
• Maintain a respectful workplace and communicate production expectations and results clearly to the team.

Brighton Solutions is conducting a search for a AM Production Supervisor with a Cleveland commercial laundry operation serving healthcare customers. This leader keeps production moving safely, meets quality and output targets, and coaches frontline employees across receiving, cleaning, and distribution.

This is a full time, direct hire opportunity based at a commercial laundry facility in Cleveland, Ohio. The position is on the AM shift; exact shift hours will be confirmed during the recruiting process. Annual compensation is $42,000–$50,000. The role requires availability for weekends and holidays and occasional hours beyond 40 per week.

What you will do

• Supervise daily work in laundry receiving, cleaning, and distribution; step into other areas as production needs change.
• Set the AM shift priorities, confirm staffing and work readiness, and communicate early production risks to the Production Manager.
• Assign work, monitor schedule adherence, and coach employees to meet production, quality, safety, and service measures.

• Inspect linen for quality, repair, or disposal; assist with periodic inventories and resolve issues promptly.
• Complete shift and weekly reports, document performance concerns, and partner with Human Resources on evaluations and staffing needs.
• Maintain a respectful workplace and communicate production expectations and results clearly to the team.
• High school diploma and five years of supervisory or management experience; commercial laundry or a similar production setting is preferred.
• Ability to lead and train hourly employees in a fast paced, changing operation while balancing several priorities.
• Sound judgment in quality control, safety, employee coaching, and production follow through.
• Clear communication with employees, customers, and suppliers; working proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Windows based tools.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional hours beyond 40 per week as business needs require.

Work setting

The role involves extensive walking and periodic stooping, kneeling, bending, and reaching. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds is required. Regular, on time attendance is essential. No license or designation is required.
