Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Aftermarket Production Leader to oversee the end-to-end delivery of our Aftermarket (AM) projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth execution across multiple functions—spanning parts kitting, project assembly, paint, test, packing/shipping, and installation. You'll lead a team of associates, coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers, and ensure timely, high-quality project outcomes that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the AM project workflow and coordinate across kitting, assembly, testing, shipping, and installation

  • Manage both short-term production schedules and medium-to-long-term capacity planning

  • Collaborate with Inventory Control, Supply Chain, NE Assembly, and other teams to secure needed resources

  • Work with third-party suppliers as an extension of the internal team—ensuring alignment, material flow, and delivery

  • Prepare documentation for international shipping and ensure compliance with export regulations

  • Proactively resolve production or project roadblocks (such as parts shortages, staffing gaps)

  • Support lean manufacturing, team cross-training, and continuous process improvements

  • Lead root-cause problem-solving for field and quality issues; implement corrective actions

  • Maintain and communicate production plans and project timelines

  • Review inventory forecasts, material shortages, and work with Purchasing to maintain supply continuity

  • Support supplier evaluation and MRP/planning issue resolution

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven leadership with 2–3 or more years in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment

  • 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations; a bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred

  • Strong communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority

  • Experience with third-party vendors, field service coordination, and international shipping paperwork

  • Hands-on knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, and lean principles

  • Working knowledge of safety, compliance, and industry standards (OSHA, UL, CE)

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems

Core Competencies:

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities

  • Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure

  • Effective communicator across all organizational levels

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
