Salary: $70,000.00 USD - $75,000.00 USD Annually

Job Overview

We are seeking two experienced Production Supervisors to join our Operations Team in Duncan, SC. In this role, you will lead and support plant employees in a fast-paced, just-in-time manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring quality and safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coach production employees to achieve performance goals.
  • Monitor production lines to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
  • Plan and assign work schedules and production sequences.
  • Train and mentor team members, adjusting coaching techniques as needed.
  • Promote and enforce 5S housekeeping and safety standards.
  • Identify and resolve production issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze team performance and implement development strategies.
  • Coordinate with materials and logistics teams to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Lead cost-reduction and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and MOS methodologies.
  • Assist with HR-related functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001, OSHA, and TS16949 standards.
  • Familiarity with production processes, raw materials, and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) principles.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Kaizen events and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive employee engagement.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices related to staffing, compliance, and employee relations.
