Perdue Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift to join our team in Rockingham, NC. This role involves supervising production associates to meet production and quality standards in a safe and efficient manner, fostering positive working relationships within the team.

Responsibilities
  1. Train, direct, and develop staff to meet operational, safety, and quality standards.
  2. Ensure product quality and compliance with customer requirements.
  3. Create a work environment that promotes associate retention.
  4. Implement company policies and procedures consistently.
  5. Support company goals related to People, Products, Profitability, and Planet through effective planning and coaching.
  6. Innovate and implement methods to improve production efficiency and safety scores.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field.
  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work the 3rd shift (10 pm to 7 am).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with industry procedures like HACCP and SPC.
  • Proven leadership skills and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to handle light equipment and access various work areas.
  • Work in a plant environment with exposure to moisture, temperature variations, noise, and chemicals, with appropriate safety gear.
