Job Description

Industry-leading food manufacturer in Omaha, NE, is seeking a Production Supervisor for their 3rd shift. The role involves overseeing daily production operations, supervising staff, monitoring equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a background in food manufacturing and proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Supervise production staff, assign tasks, provide training, and evaluate performance.
  2. Ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with GMPs.
  3. Maintain accurate production records.
  4. Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
  5. Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
  6. Ensure food safety compliance, including HACCP standards.
  7. Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, and planning departments.
  8. Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
  9. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
  10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives like Lean or Six Sigma.
  11. Communicate effectively with team and management.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred in Food Science, Engineering, or Business.
  2. Knowledge of food processing, equipment, and safety regulations.
  3. Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards.
