We are looking to add a Production Supervisor 3rd Shift located in Columbia, SC. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role involves directing manufacturing operations during a shift or group of lines to meet volume, quality, and cost goals.

3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m., Monday - Friday

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Supervise production processes and ensure line success in a technical environment.
• Evaluate plant performance and recommend operational changes for efficiency and quality.
• Present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
• Collect data, interpret instructions, and draw valid conclusions.
• Lead a team to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and guide resolutions.
• Coach operators to improve performance and understanding.
• Collaborate with engineers on improvement ideas and projects.
• Provide technical and operational support to project teams.
• Serve as liaison between operations and maintenance teams.
• Train and mentor junior operators.
• Prioritize production schedules based on needs and resources.
• Participate in process development and cost improvement initiatives.
• Assist in budget planning and manage departmental expenses.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment through education and policy enforcement.

Here is some of what you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
• 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Automation experience preferred.
• Experience leading staff meetings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with ERP systems (Kronos preferred).
