Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a 3rd Shift Supervisor to manage our overnight team and drive results!

Your Shift: Monday - Friday, 3rd shift, 11pm - 7am

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety and facility policies and procedures are observed and followed
  • Maintain and monitor workflow by establishing and adjusting resources in order to meet daily output goals and customer needs
  • Record and maintain departmental metrics in order to recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product
  • Communicate goals and standards to employees
  • Resolve employee issues by analyzing data, investigate issues, identify solutions, and recommend action
  • Conduct employee training and performance appraisal process
  • Communicates and works as a team with other departments, subordinates and management to resolve problems, complaints, and expedite work
  • Recommends or implements measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality and efficiency
  • Develop, mentor & train employees to assist in meeting both organizational & individual objectives

You Must Have:

  • 2 - 5 years of relevant manufacturing leadership experience
  • Solid math and computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Business knowledge and ability to see effects of decisions on the operation
  • Contributes to an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation to maintain an effective working environment as well as ensure continuity of service to customers
  • Proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding the English Language

  • Bachelor's Degree or manufacturing relevant education
  • Ability to lead change efforts
  • Ability and willingness to hold self and direct reports accountable for meeting performance expectations
  • Ability to communicate effectively to large groups of employees
  • Reacts to change productively and handles other tasks as assigned
  • A service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
