Job Summary:

The Production Supervisors oversee specific production lines in the plant; either the PBM/Sidekicks lines or the Eco/Cups/Tetra lines. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating shift activities to ensure efficient operations and high-quality production.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Interviews, hire, train, and manage employees on assigned production lines.
  • Oversee daily workflow and assignments.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Leads shift transition meetings to ensure effective communication.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maximizing efficiencies and minimizing downtime while maintaining product quality.
  • Responsible for printing production schedules for assigned lines and distributing to appropriate operators.
  • Schedule staff according to production needs.
  • Achieving cost-per-case goals on the production lines by actively monitoring and controlling labor cost, minimizing shrink and effectively managing overtime.
  • Ensuring that the blend schedule on the production lines is running in accordance with the schedules.
  • Ensures compliance with GMP and HACCP regulations for audit readiness.
  • Train, motivate, and enforce safety, GMP, and quality standards.
  • Coach and mentor employees for professional development.
  • Responsible for sanitation and Warehouse Management System processes.
  • Perform CIP and production piping connections.
  • Review HACCP documentation and addresses discrepancies.
  • Provide back-up support for other production lines as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of production operations and machinery.
  • Excellent supervisory, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software for reporting and documentation.

Education & Experience:

  • Associate degree (A.A.) required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years relevant supervisory experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move throughout the production facility.
  • Ability to move up to 50 pounds.
