Job summary

Altium Packaging in Tracy, California is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct and monitor the activities of production personnel and manage resources in our packaging manufacturing environment.

You will lead by example in our safety-first culture, ensure compliance with policies and laws, own process improvements, and drive performance through team engagement to meet customer specifications and timelines.

Targeted pay range is $60,000.00 – $73,500.00 per year.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years manufacturing experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• High level knowledge of machinery and production systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations by adhering to guiding principles and safety culture.
• Ensure safety, policy compliance, and regulatory adherence.
• Own process improvements and drive safety, quality, production and financial results.
• Foster morale and employee engagement to improve retention and continuous improvements.
• Meet customer specifications and deliver products on time.
• Manage performance cycle including interviewing, training, development, promotions, coaching and discharge.
• Act as a change agent and document procedures.

Job Summary: Direct and monitor activities of production personnel and manages resources employed in manufacturing of packaging solutions.

Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• High level knowledge of machinery and production systems.

Preferred Skills/Attributes

• AS degree is preferred.
• Blow or Injection Mold experience is a plus.
• Understanding of a union environment is preferred.
• A drive to strive for continuous improvement.
• Computer skills.

Targeted Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $73,500.00
