Qualifications

  • Familiarity with current production and repair processes.
  • Compliance experience QSR (Quality System Repair) and MIL SPEC experience preferred.

Job Description

The Supervisor Production is responsible for supervising endoscope technicians and their work processes to achieve production/ repair plans quality and delivery targets and documentation of production activities while improving safety ergonomics and processes. This position will manage and train production technicians to meet safety quality production and cost goals.

Job Duties
  • Provide leadership to customer product repair lines by directing technicians in prioritizing activities and achieving daily output goals.
  • Monitor the flow of work through the repair line(s) and take necessary steps to resolve repair problems.
  • Review the work environment; consult with Engineering Environmental Health and Safety and Quality about perceived problems and implement measures to assure safe working conditions.
  • Assure the attainment of quality cost and production targets as measured by time schedules and work outputs.
  • Identify training needs and assure repair staff is adequately trained in all areas of the repair process in order to support business plans and ensure employee development. Implement effective solutions to resolve employee performance issues.
  • Deal swiftly with customer issues/ complaints by identifying the cause of the problem and resolving outstanding issues.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in assembly of precision instruments or related field required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of quality theory and Electro mechanical production required.
  • Strong math skills required.
  • Experience in a customer service environment required.
  • Familiarity with current production and repair processes.

Preferred:

  • An Associates or Bachelors is preferred.
  • Compliance experience QSR (Quality System Repair) and MIL SPEC experience desired.
  • Previous supervisory experience desirable.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is$82,500.00-$111,374.00/ year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this positionincluding: level of experience, working location, and relevanteducation and certifications.
