We are hiring a 2nd shift Production Supervisor for our frozen pizza foodmanufacturing facility in North West, PA . This positionis responsible forensuring a safe working environment and leading theproductionandpackagingof various multi-serve and single-serve pizzas and pizza sandwiches!

Responsibilities:

  • Directs productionandpackaging on production lines to ensure company and USDA requirements are met.
  • Leads, trains, and developsteam members.
  • Responsible for interviewing and hiring qualified employeesandmanagesemployee performance,skills development,conductsperformance appraisals, andadministersdisciplinary actionwhen needed.
  • Responsible for safety, housekeeping, policy administration, employee relations, cost control, and problem solving. Adjust daily work schedule as needed to meet production requirements.
  • Works closely with USDArepresentativeon site to ensure all company, state, and federal requirements for food safety are met. Reviews and signs off on all Quality Assurance and HACCP documentation.
  • Checks product quality, usage, waste, product counts, and weights to assure performance and attainment. Demonstrate KPI measures.
  • Reviews and/or prepares and assures accuracy of various operational reports. Assures improvements, if needed, andtimelydistribution of reports and budget information.
  • Maintains constant improvementin makingquality products, reducing costs, and following good manufacturing practices (GMP).
  • Participates in and supports Global Manufacturing Food Safety Initiative programs, implementation, and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • High School diplomarequired,Bachelor'sdegree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years related work experience preferably infoodor manufacturingindustry,with minimum of 2 years in supervision.
  • Intermediate knowledge of robotics used in production.
  • Ability to effectively supervise line employees.
  • Strong communicationand reasoning skills to provide asafe andpositive work environment.
  • Ability towriteroutine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Knowledge of USDA, FDA, and BRC regulations preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is$57,500 to $97,500annually with eligibility for a10%annual incentive bonus, that is based on organizational performance.The pay rangerepresentsthenumerousfactors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to educations, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Years of Related Experience: 4 to 5 years related work experience preferably in food industry manufacturing orequivalent combination of education and experience, with minimum of 2 years in supervision.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Intermediate personal computer skills including MicroSoft Office. SAP experiencebeneficial. Intermediate knowledge of robotics used in production. Ability to effectively supervise line employees.Strong communication and reasoning skills to provide a positive work environment. Ability to read and interpretdocuments such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to writeroutine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, usingwhole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpretbar graphs. Knowledge of USDA, FDA, and BRC regulations preferred. Advanced knowledge of Bakery/dough processespreferred.
