Blue Rhino is looking for a Full Time Production Supervisor to join our team! The Production Supervisor will manage production operations in a team-based environment on assigned shift to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency, in the refilling, re-valving, re-qualifying, refurbishing, packaging, and storage of propane cylinders to meet the needs of the distributor network. This position typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of related work experience.

Responsibilities
- Manage direct reports and cultivate a positive departmental morale, including an uncompromising culture of meeting safety, quality, and production plans.
- Perform supervisory duties such as enforcing company policies on absenteeism, tardiness, shift start-up; utilizing disciplinary procedures; documenting and conducting performance reviews; maintaining attendance and safety records.
- Conduct or assist with training for new employees, safety topics, job-specific training, and refresher courses; maintain proper documentation.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor subordinates to strengthen the organization.
- Communicate daily with direct reports and plant management.
- Implement manufacturing processes for efficient staffing, proper use of equipment, waste elimination, quality improvement, and cost reduction; report performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA 119.1910 Process Safety Management regulation.
- Handle staffing needs on assigned shifts to meet production targets.
- Complete other special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and other safety and environmental standards.
- Experience in Lean and Just-in-Time Manufacturing preferred.
- Managerial or supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship not required.
