Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production operations at our new facility. You will be the information hub between hourly assembly staff, management, engineering, quality, purchasing and planning, driving safety and efficiency on the line.

We value leadership, PM skills, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings. A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is preferred, along with Lean methods experience and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

2+ years in an Assembly/Manufacturing environment.
PM experience; strong leadership and time management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Drive daily production processes and act as information hub between hourly workforce, management, engineering, quality, purchasing and planning.
Improve safety, reduce errors, enhance product quality and efficiency.
Manage production schedule, assign personnel, supervise progress, coordinate training, drive continuous improvement, conduct evaluations.

We are looking for a Production Supervisor. This position will be based at our new facility in Fort Worth, TX.

You’ll make an impact by:

Being the key driver of all daily production related processes and the hub of information transfer between the hourly assembly workforce, management, engineering, quality control, purchasing and planning.
Improve safety for all personnel that work in and around production line while drive efforts and initiatives to reduce production errors, improve product quality, and increase efficiency.
Handle production schedule, assign personnel to work areas, supervise progress, coordinate and document training of personnel, drive continuous improvement projects, and conduct annual employee performance evaluations.
Maintain working relationships with local union by following the collective bargaining agreement.
Support digitalization efforts to implement tools such as Digital Work Instructions, Operator Displays, Performance/Status Dashboards, and other connecting tools.

Basic Qualifications:

2+ years of successful experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing environment.
Project Management experience; strong leadership and time management skills, understanding of management approaches for work direction, motivation, talent development and performance management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Lean Manufacturing techniques.
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

The pay range for this position is 61,547 - 105,509 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
