Job summary

Delevan, part of Regal Rexnord, seeks a 2nd shift production supervisor to guide associates in delivering high-quality inductors, coils and transformers. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives while maintaining union relations and compliant waste handling in a fully onsite role.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in a related field, 3+ years in manufacturing, and experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 and lean processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment; electronics manufacturing preferred.
  • Supervision experience in a production environment required.
  • Experience with ISO:9001 and AS9100 preferred.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Train associates in proper manufacturing techniques.
  • Implement and ensure ABS tools are being followed (Standard Work, Kamishibai Audits, Daily Management, Cross Training, Kanban).
  • Ensure associates comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Work with Supervisors and Leads for proper cell staffing.
  • Daily Management of SQDIP objectives & goals (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity).
  • Responsible for implementation of countermeasures for misses to daily/weekly KPI goals.
  • Disciplinary Action when necessary.
  • Responsible for the proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste.
  • Responsible for managing production work schedules.
  • Deliver products that meet all quality, cost, and quantity requirements.
  • Maintain working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreements.
  • Hazardous and other regulated waste handling, storage and disposal per Federal, NYS and local requirements.

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for supervising 2nd shift production associates in the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. The position is accountable for achieving targets related to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.

  • Train associates in proper manufacturing techniques.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Expected Base Salary Range

Expected Base Salary Range: [$80,000 – $100,000]

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, the geographic market of that location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
