As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing day-to-day operations for the packing, warehouse, and loading departments, ensuring that direct reports follow policies and procedures related to employee safety and food/feed safety. To succeed, you must be able to:

Your responsibilities:
- Oversees and executes day-to-day operations for the department, ensuring policies related to safety are followed
- Partners with EHS and Food Safety, Quality, and Regulatory experts to ensure compliance with safety policies
- Monitors production outcomes, quality, and safety specifications, providing continuous improvement recommendations
- Leads process improvement initiatives such as Centerlining, Preventative Maintenance, 5S, and ELEMEDS
- Collaborates with plant management to develop and meet efficiency standards
- Plans for future workforce needs and participates in employee selection
- Addresses inventory discrepancies and implements corrective actions
- Engages, recognizes, develops, and coaches team members
Essential skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or High School diploma/GED with 4 years of production experience
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in an industrial environment
- Understanding of safety hazards and protocols
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems
Good to have:
- Experience with packaging equipment and conveying systems
- Training in LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Reliability-centered maintenance training
Physical requirements and working conditions:
- Ability to perform administrative tasks at a computer
- Willingness to wear PPE as required
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in environments with temperature variations, dust, noise, and elevated places
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb stairs/ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces
