Job summary

ALLNEX in Wallingford, CT is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations in designated production areas, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. The role involves supervising group leaders and operators, prioritizing tasks, and coordinating training to meet production plans.

You will ensure compliance with ISO/QMS and SHE management systems, manage administrative duties, and communicate priorities to teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing; chemicals preferred
• Experience in a union environment is a plus
• Available to work 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends occasionally
• Fluent English (reading, writing and speaking) is required

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of all production processes and that employees work safely at all times
• Communicate production priorities to group leaders and operators; assign daily tasks
• Maintain administrative duties such as employee management, coaching, performance reviews, overtime, shift reports, batch reports, maintenance work orders and incident reports
• Coordinate and maintain employee training activities and ensure training requirements are met
• Prioritize workloads to meet production supply plan demands
• Interact with stakeholders to ensure effective daily communication and outcomes
• Troubleshoot process upsets and production issues to ensure efficient use of equipment, raw materials and labor
