Position Summary: Provides direction and leadership for site manufacturing activities to achieve safety, cost, quality, and delivery goals. Manages resources and leads associates to perform departmental tasks efficiently while ensuring quality and schedule adherence. Ensures proper use of personnel systems and regulatory compliance. Supports company mission, vision, and values.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drives Lean Daily Management System (LDMS) to achieve operational excellence.
  • Establishes and executes metrics & goals, manages escalation and problem-solving daily.
  • Develops staffing and scheduling plans based on capacity/load targets.
  • Aligns operations with support functions and holds teams accountable.

Leadership:

  • Demonstrates alignment with corporate mission, vision, and values.
  • Communicates effectively, connects team members to organizational goals.
  • Builds engagement and relationships, leads change through inspiration.
  • Ensures fair application of policies, resolves personnel issues, leads by example.

Quality / Continuous Improvement:

  • Fosters a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Adheres to quality plans and standard work, engages teams in waste reduction and Kaizen events.

Development of Self / Others:

  • Develops team members using Workforce Development Plans.
  • Addresses skill gaps, coaches, mentors, and manages performance.
  • Continually develops personal skills and knowledge.

Approximate # of direct reports: 10-30.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, MRP systems, data analysis)

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Manufacturing or related experience, leadership roles

Critical Competencies:

  • Communication, teamwork, engagement, accountability, agility, problem-solving

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform essential functions safely, meet productivity standards, maintain punctuality, pass vision tests if required.
