Position Summary

The Production Supervisor in our Distribution Center directs workflow for warehouse employees and leads their team to meet and exceed daily targets. Manages day to day work operations and evaluates work performance. Assists manager in the total leadership and operations with initiative, leadership, and continuous improvement thinking. This includes planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics within the distribution center.

**Selected candidate will need to have flexibility of working 1st shift hours of 6:30am up to 3:30pm, weekends as needed.**

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires.
  • Ensuring employees have the necessary equipment, materials, and documents to ensure successful completion of tasks.
  • Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products.
  • Executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise.
  • Manages day-to-day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded.
  • Monitoring and adjusting resources to achieve the daily production and delivery goals.
  • Balancing workloads by taking readings throughout the day to achieve the appropriate level of volume by the projected time of completion.
  • Monitoring the work performance of each employee to ensure that quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Conducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve colleague efficiency and warehouse operations.
  • Providing ongoing training and retraining of employees to ensure that they are prepared to meet or exceed the productivity standards for their function.
  • Analyzes reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices for the section.
  • Defines terms for conducting tasks and establishes new priorities for assignments to meet operational success.
  • Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of supervisory/people leader experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Warehouse Management Systems experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to analyze information effectively and consistently.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
