Job summary

Reser is seeking a Production Supervisor in Memphis, TN to lead a team in a refrigerated production environment. You will oversee shift planning, training, and performance coaching while ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating production activities, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with Quality, Safety, and Distribution to meet objectives. A High School Diploma and 2–5 years manufacturing experience are required, with weekend

• Basic PC skills and Microsoft Office applications experience are required.
• Production demands require evening and/or weekend scheduling greater than 40 hours per week in an exempt role.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates food production activities, planning work schedules and assignments to meet production goals.
• Sets clear expectations and goals for team members, provides training and support, and measures performance against goals with feedback.
• Prioritizes work to meet company objectives and removes barriers to success.
• Collaborates across departments with Quality, Distribution, Safety, and other functions as needed.
• Ensures all FDA, HACCP, SQF, OSHA and other compliance, safety and regulatory processes are followed.
• Prepares and maintains production reports and documentation; monitors production tracking and quality systems.
• Keeps a customer focus on internal and external needs, even in challenging circumstances.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

1. Supervises and coordinates food production activities, planning work schedules and assignments to meet production goals.

2. Sets clear expectations and goals for team members, provides training and support for team, measuring and monitoring performance against goal and objectives and providing feedback, mentoring and support.

3. Prioritizes work to ensure company objectives are met and takes action to remove barriers that may prevent the team from reaching objectives.

4. Demonstrates responsibility and reliability, working across departments to partner with Quality, Distribution, Safety, and other functions as needed.

5. Ensures all FDA, HACCP, SQF, OSHA and other compliance, safety and regulatory processes are followed.

6. Prepares and maintains production reports and other plant and employee documentation. Monitors production tracking and quality systems.

7. Maintains a focus on the customer, whether internal or external customers striving to ensure customer needs are met, even in challenging circumstances.

Job Specifications

1. 2-5 years manufacturing experience is required.

2. Food industry experience is preferred.

3. High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

4. Basic PC skills and Microsoft Office applications experience.

5. Production demands required evening and/or weekend scheduling greater than 40 hours per week in an exempt role.

Working Conditions

1. Refrigerated food manufacturing plant.

2. The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F.

3. Lifting, kneeling, and bending with packages in excess of 50 lbs.

4. Long periods of standing or walking on a manufacturing floor required.

5. Production demands required evening and/or weekend scheduling greater than 40 hours per week in an exempt role.

This position is eligible for a bonus based on company goals/performance.
