The Fresh Factory in Downers Grove, IL seeks a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to lead all manufacturing activities for fresh food products, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency. Bilingual Spanish/English is required; 3+ years in food manufacturing; Food Handlers Certificate; forklift certification preferred.

• Production Oversight: Direct daily operations to meet production targets within specified timeframes.
• Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate a team of 5+ direct reports.
• Process Management: Oversee the flow of materials and processes, conduct inspections for efficiency and quality.
• Record Keeping: Complete and submit required reports and documentation at shift end.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with engineering, operations, safety, QA, logistics, and finance.

We have an exciting opportunity for a 1st Shift Production Supervisor will lead and coordinate all manufacturing activities, including cleaning, preparation, filling, processing, and packaging of fresh food products. This role requires strong leadership skills to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have food manufacturing experience and excel at motivating teams to meet and exceed production goals. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.

Schedule: 1st shift

Location: On-site in Downer's Grove

Pay: $24-31/hr, depending on experience & skillset, plus differential

• Certifications: Food Handlers Certificate required; forklift certification preferred.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency; experience with data analysis and Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and bend or stoop as needed.
  • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
