Multimatic is seeking a production supervisor in Indiana to lead and direct all production activity and associates. You will manage accident investigations and ensure timely accident reports within 24 hours, and drive continuous improvement through corrective actions.
The role requires coaching staff, conducting annual performance reviews, supervising attendance, approving days off, and coordinating shift meetings to relay goals.
Responsible for ensuring all company policies are carried out. Responsible to lead and assist in accident investigations and to complete accident reports within 24 hrs. of the occurrence. Plans, assigns, and directs all production activity and associates. Utilizes effective communication with all associates including targeted production standards and performance rates. Lead and facilitate corrective action and continuous improvement teams. Responsible for production associates performance reviews on an annual basis. Responsible for coaching production associates and completing Conduct and Corrective Action reports when necessary. Responsible for conducting shift meetings to discuss objectives and relay important information to production associates. Responsible for the approval and management of days off requests from production associates. Prioritizes production requirements assessing labor requirement vs. actual headcount. Responsible for the daily approval of employee timecards and accurate completion of all attendance paperwork. Ensures production associates are adequately trained on their jobs and trains associates when needed. Meets daily, or as needed, with other supervisors and management staff to review all production activities.
