Job summary

Multimatic in Butler, IN is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities and lead a team of associates. The role ensures policy adherence and drives performance through clear communication and structured meetings.

The Supervisor will manage accident investigations, direct corrective actions, and conduct annual performance reviews while coordinating days off and timecard approvals. Collaboration with management is essential for continuous improvement and staffing

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring all company policies are carried out.
• Lead and assist in accident investigations and complete accident reports within 24 hrs. of the occurrence.
• Plans, assigns, and directs all production activity and associates.
• Utilizes effective communication with all associates including targeted production standards and performance rates.
• Lead and facilitate corrective action and continuous improvement teams.
• Responsible for production associates performance reviews on an annual basis.
• Responsible for coaching production associates and completing Conduct and Corrective Action reports when necessary.
• Conduct shift meetings to discuss objectives and relay important information to production associates.
• Responsible for the approval and management of days off requests from production associates.
• Prioritizes production requirements assessing labor requirement vs. actual headcount.
• Responsible for the daily approval of employee timecards and accurate completion of all attendance paperwork.
• Ensures production associates are adequately trained on their jobs and trains associates when needed.
• Meets daily, or as needed, with other supervisors and management staff to review all production activities.
