What you’ll do

Eaton is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor position at a dynamic manufacturing site supporting the rapidly growing demand for its electrical solutions in Beaver, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Your responsibility will be to foster a safety‑first environment and actively promote practices that prevent incidents. You’ll also implement safety programs to minimize workplace accidents.
• You’ll oversee the allocation of manpower within your assigned area, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining 5S+ standards while meeting or exceeding productivity expectations.
• Address safety concerns promptly and take corrective actions as needed. Report process and equipment problems promptly and collaborate with relevant personnel for assistance.
• As part of your role, you’ll train, upgrade, and evaluate operators’ skills. Providing ongoing coaching and development to enhance performance is essential, and regular reviews of operator performance are necessary.
• Maintain positive employee relations and adhere to labor contract provisions. When required, apply fair and judicious disciplinary measures.
• Keep accurate records of employee attendance, performance, and departmental activities. Upkeep employee timecards for accurate and prompt payroll.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or operations environment
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of the specified job location(s) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of current manufacturing, engineering, materials management and quality assurance methods and practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate employees
• Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships at all levels in the organization
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and understanding

Salary

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83,250 – $122,100 a year. Salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
