Production Supervisor, 12 Hr - 7pm - 7am Shift - Piney Flats Flexible Packaging

Location: Piney Flats, Tennessee

Shift: 12 Hr. Shift (7:00pm - 7:00am)

We are seeking a detail-oriented, safety-minded, and highly motivated individual to fill the role of 3rd Shift Production Supervisor at our Piney Flats location, 621 Mtn. View Drive. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, following procedures to safely meet customer expectations, completing required paperwork accurately, monitoring results, and ensuring high quality of finished products.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees follow all policies and procedures.
• Manage weekly payroll for hourly employees.
• Sign off on jobs.
• Resolve problems that occur on the shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of the plant.
• Handle safety incidents and emergencies.
• Responsible for plant lockups during weekends when the plant is down.
• Schedule weekend coverage as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement by achieving goals in efficiency, safety, quality, waste reduction, housekeeping, and project work, as determined by the Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to train and develop team members.
• Knowledge and application of SPC is a plus.
• Understanding of Leadership & Continuous Improvement initiatives is advantageous.
• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and seek personal growth.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with ADP Payroll system is a plus.
