Qualifications

  • Netsuite or Oracle experience highly desired.
  • Proficient computer skills using Outlook, Excel, and ERP system.
  • Forklift experience/certification will be required. Training is available if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations and provide guidance to direct labor team members.
  • Ensure safety policies and Lean standards are followed and the work environment remains safe and organized.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify and resolve production problems.
  • Minimize waste and cost to the production line and ensure accurate reporting in ERP.
  • Track Work Orders, Cycle counts, Non-conformance forms, and inventory accuracy; manage inspection reporting.

The Production Supervisor supports the Production Manager by overseeing daily manufacturing operations and providing guidance to direct labor team members. This role ensures team members follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards while maintaining an efficient and organized work environment. The Production Supervisor monitors production data, inventory accuracy, and ERP entries to support timely and accurate reporting. This position also collaborates cross-functionally to resolve production issues, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement across the production floor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. Work with the Production Manager by providing oversight, support, and guidance to direct labor team members.
  2. Oversee the training of direct labor team members through compliance with established work instructions given by Production Coordinators and Team Leads.
  3. Ensure safety policies and procedures are always followed. Ensure work environment meets safety and Lean standards. Work with team members to ensure good housekeeping practices.
  4. Work with engineering and team members to develop safe, efficient, and accessible work processes.
  5. Understand ISO policies and quality standards. Work with engineering and quality teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production problems.
  6. Minimize waste and cost to the production line.
  7. Ensure all team members understand and follow the work instructions.
  8. Run analysis on the following areas of production to ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting the following work functions:
    • Work Orders
    • Cycle counts
    • Non-conformance material forms, as needed.
    • Ensure Inventory accuracy.
    • Entry on inspection reporting
    • Assist with shipping paperwork as needed.
  9. Ensure accurate entry of information into ERP including work orders and labor hours.
  10. In collaboration with the Procurement Team, ensure the timely order of materials needed to run production. Ensure inventory of raw materials is available to meet customer deadlines.
  11. Track multistep processes using MS Office Suite and our ERP system.
  12. Generate ideas for continuous improvements to processes, accessibility, and safety. Implement changes in processes and use of equipment to increase efficiency, improve safety and quality, reduce costs, and improve employee morale.
  13. Review team member timecards for accuracy before approval.
  14. All other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and at times in writing. Must be able to perform sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time. The employee is required to be mobile both in and out of doors. This job assumes the ability to lift 50 pounds often throughout the work shift.
