GK Packaging, Inc., located in Washington Court House, OH, is hiring a Production Supervisor for the 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift. You will supervise a 12-hour operation, lead a team of operators, and drive on-time production with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires strong leadership potential, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to train on packaging equipment. Benefits are provided.

• 1+ years in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or lead/assistant lead role preferred (willing to train candidates with strong leadership traits).

Compensation: $26.00 – $31.00 per hour ($63,000 – $76,000 / year) + Benefits

Position Summary

GK Packaging is seeking a motivated and dependable Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations for our 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift at our Washington Court House facility.

Willing to Train: We are looking for individuals with strong leadership potential, strong communication skills, and a solid work ethic. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to help you master our equipment, packaging processes, and supervisory systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and motivate shift operators and material handlers across a 12-hour schedule to foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move across the plant floor during a 12-hour shift and lift up to 35 lbs.

Additional Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and evaluate shift operators and material handlers across a 12-hour schedule to foster a high-performance, team-oriented work environment.
• Production Operations: Oversee packaging lines, automated machinery, and material flow from 7 AM to 7 PM to meet daily production schedules and output targets.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety standards, plant rules, and proper PPE protocols; conduct safety audits and daily shift briefings.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all packaged products meet strict customer quality standards and specifications; resolve quality defects promptly.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify workflow bottlenecks and lead root-cause problem solving (5S, Lean Manufacturing practices).
• Shift Handover & Reporting: Track shift metrics (OEE, scrap rates, downtime) and conduct thorough, structured handovers with the incoming evening shift supervisor.
