We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Production Supervisor to join our thriving Manufacturing team. This role is integral to our company's success, as you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of our production department and ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing production supervision, with a proven track record of managing teams, driving productivity, and maintaining high-quality standards. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Production Supervisor, you will

  • Oversee day-to-day production activities to ensure operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize production capacity.
  • Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards at all times.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of production workers, promoting a positive work environment and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to resolve production issues and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Manage resources effectively to meet production targets and budget constraints.
  • Analyze production data, prepare reports, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Permanent Production Supervisor position, you must have

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Proficiency in using production planning and inventory management software.
  • A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
