JOB SUMMARY
The 3rd shift Production Supervisor at Polyvinyl Films Inc. is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing operations, the production team, and ensuring the quality and results of the product.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise daily operations of the production lines, ensuring adherence to safety, quality and production standards.
- Lead and mentor production team, while providing training and support as needed.
- Monitor production processes, identifying and implementing improvements, to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with quality control team to ensure compliance with product specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality records.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with supply chain for timely replenishment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to foster development and growth.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing , or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in a supervisory position within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in 5S, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of blown films production processes and equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Capability to lift material up to 50lbs as necessary.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noises, machinery, and equipment.
3rd shift: Monday-Friday, 10:30pm-7:30am
40 hours per week.
