Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production Supervisor for its Sumter, SC facility. You will oversee daily poultry production operations on the floor, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, coordinate team duties, and monitor equipment and workflow.

Role requires agility to respond to real-time operational issues and maintain productivity. Requirements include 1+ years of supervisory experience with 20+ employees, basic computer knowledge, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of supervisory leadership overseeing 20+ employees preferred
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken

Production Supervisor

In this key role, you'll serve as the frontline leader overseeing daily operations within our poultry production facility. You'll ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards for safety, quality assurance, and efficiency. Based primarily on the production floor, you'll coordinate team duties, monitor equipment and workflow, and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations. The role also requires agility to respond to operational issues in real time, helping maintain a productive and well-functioning workplace.

Must be willing to work 2nd shift!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

What You’ll Need

• Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field preferred.
• Experience: 1 or more years of previous supervisory experience with leadership skills of 20+ employees preferred. Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: Effective communication both orally and in writing, capable of independent decision making, must have basic computer knowledge, ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
