Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well-established medical device manufacturer in Raleigh, NC, by recruiting a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and support ongoing operational excellence initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in regulated manufacturing, a track record of developing teams, and a drive to improve processes, quality, and productivity while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Six+ years of supervision in a medical device regulated environment.
• Experience leading production operations and Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, GMP or equivalent standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and drive sustainable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple production areas, ensuring targets, quality, safety, and delivery commitments are met.
• Coach and develop production staff and frontline leaders.
• Drive operations excellence initiatives focusing on process improvements, productivity, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, and other departments to support readiness and customer requirements.
• Monitor metrics, labor utilization, training effectiveness, and production costs to identify optimization opportunities.
• Support quality systems and regulatory compliance, audits, and corrective action initiatives.

This individual will oversee production activities, collaborate with cross-functional departments, support compliance, and quality requirements, and help implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple production areas, ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety expectations, and delivery commitments are consistently met.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production staff and frontline leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on process improvement, productivity, efficiency gains, waste reduction, and overall manufacturing performance.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, and other departments to support production readiness, resolve operational challenges, and ensure successful execution of customer requirements.
• Monitor departmental performance metrics, labor utilization, training effectiveness, and production costs while identifying opportunities for improvement and resource optimization.
• Support compliance with quality systems, regulatory standards, audits, inspections, training requirements, and corrective action initiatives to maintain operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant manufacturing leadership experience.
• Six or more years of experience supervising and developing teams within a medical device regulated manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success leading production operations and implementing Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.
• Experience working within quality-driven manufacturing environments governed by standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA, GMP, or equivalent regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results.
• Proven ability to build effective cross-functional relationships, develop employees, identify root causes, and implement sustainable process improvements.
