Position Overview

Starting pay: $62,000

Responsible for directing shift production operations, including formula checks, task assignments, and schedule monitoring to ensure standards are met. The role requires competency in activities impacting product safety, legality, and quality.

Position Responsibilities
  1. Train and supervise production technicians and outsourced labor in equipment care and safety.
  2. Review records and procedures for proper resource use and perform quality inspections.
  3. Maintain equipment in good condition.
  4. Promote employee relations and interdepartmental communication.
  5. Ensure a safe work environment through policy enforcement and safety meetings.
  6. Adjust work assignments to cover all production phases.
  7. Operate facility metal detectors, requiring full training and certification.
  8. Ensure employee compliance with rules and assist in training.
  9. Participate in disciplinary processes when needed.
  10. Maintain cleanliness and adherence to company policies, including safety, EEO, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications

* At least two years of experience in plant production.

* High School diploma or equivalent, completion of AIB Bakery Science Residence Program, and formal management training.
