Position Title: Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Wage:

$43,000 - $52,000/year

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Production Supervisor at a company in Mount Pleasant, WI. This is a direct hire position for 3rd shift. Apply today!

Production Supervisor Responsibilities:

1. Interpret production demand, implement, and manage daily execution of the production schedule through delegation and time management.
2. Report inventory monthly, using FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation.
3. Implement proper storage practices and maintain adequate inventory levels for production requirements.
4. Complete various reports and verify production numbers.
5. Manage team including hiring, training and development, performance management, setting weekly schedules, managing timecards, and planning team workload.
6. Ensure all team members are trained and practicing GMPs, and are SQF and HACCP compliant.
7. Work alongside team members to assist with daily production and provide on-the-job training and support.
8. Develop a sound understanding of GMPs, SQF, HACCP, and OSHA standards.
9. Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all processes and equipment, ensuring compliance.
10. Provide seasonal support and guidance to retail and production teams for preparation, baking, decoration, and packaging of seasonal items and products.
11. Evaluate and encourage employee development through continuous on-the-job training, annual performance reviews, and corrective actions as needed.
12. Maintain employee safety and morale by creating a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements for Production Supervisor:

1. Associate's degree or equivalent work-related experience.
2. 2-5 years of related experience in a food production leadership role.
3. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
4. SQF and HACCP experience preferred.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Advanced critical thinking skills.
7. Exceptional organizational skills.
8. Excellent leadership and staff management skills.
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to sit, stand, bend, and twist throughout the shift.
11. Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
