Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for the Soil department on 1st shift in Miami Gardens, FL. You will lead daily operations, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and develop a team of production associates in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management, ensuring regulatory compliance and consistent service delivery to healthcare partners. Prior manufacturing leadership and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of production supervision or industrial/manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Experience leading hourly teams and developing employees.
• Experience using ERP or WMS systems to track production data.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily 1st shift production operations in the Soil department to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Optimize labor utilization and workflow; coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Plant Leadership.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production staff; support onboarding and performance reviews.
• Enforce OSHA and NOVO safety policies; maintain a safety-first culture.
• Monitor quality and production metrics; support continuous improvement initiatives.
