We are looking for (2) Supervisors to join our team!

Summary:

Coordinates the manufacturing of company products by supervising staff, while organizing, monitoring and improving work flow.

Essential Job Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Maintain presence on floor as much as possible to ensure employees are working safely, productively, and efficiently, and to be a resource to employees in their daily duties.
• Establish and maintain production schedule to include monitoring the schedule throughout the work day to ensure machines are staying productive and ensuring that no work orders become overdue.
• Collect, monitor and communicate data regarding departmental metrics
• Keep track of overdue and close due work orders that have material issues.
• Maintain communication with operators during the day to troubleshoot any problems and make decisions on orders that may need to be moved up or down in schedule.
• Monitor work orders that are pulled off laminator due to unforeseen lack of material issues, run ability issues, or other issues.
• Complete labor schedules ensuring any vacancies are covered and labor is distributed to cover required positions.
• Work with various departments to resolve issues that may arise
• Enforce all plant rules and issue appropriate discipline when necessary.
• Administer the hourly vacation schedules and approvals.
• Monitor timekeeping system daily regarding all union employees in and out punches.
• Assist with all accident/near miss investigations including interviewing involved individuals and witnesses and completing appropriate paperwork.
