Position Overview
The Remote Production Supervisor will play a critical role in monitoring and managing daily food production workflows across DIVIETO restaurant locations. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent quality, adherence to food safety standards, and efficiency in production schedules. Working closely with restaurant managers, chefs, and supply chain staff, the Production Supervisor will ensure our signature dishes are prepared with excellence and meet brand standards.
This position is fully remote but requires occasional travel to restaurant locations for site visits, quality audits, and team training.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Oversight
- Supervise daily food production activities remotely across multiple DIVIETO restaurant units.
- Ensure standardized recipes and portion controls are followed consistently.
- Monitor workflow efficiency to minimize waste and reduce production costs.
- Quality & Compliance
- Enforce compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, FDA, and company protocols).
- Conduct virtual and on-site audits to ensure kitchens are operating according to brand guidelines.
- Address and resolve production-related quality concerns quickly.
- Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Coordinate with chefs, kitchen managers, and restaurant leadership to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to kitchen staff via virtual platforms.
- Support training programs for culinary teams to maintain consistency across locations.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination
- Oversee raw material usage, ensuring alignment with supply chain forecasts.
- Collaborate with procurement and vendors to manage ingredient availability.
- Approve inventory orders and analyze consumption trends to optimize efficiency.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Generate weekly and monthly production reports for leadership review.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
- Recommend technology, tools, and systems to streamline production management.
Qualifications
- Required: U.S. Citizenship or valid U.S. Work Permit.
- Bachelors degree in Culinary Management, Food Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in food production supervision, restaurant operations, or culinary management.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, and restaurant industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing remote or multi-site teams.
- Proficiency in digital tools (production management software, scheduling tools, MS Office/Google Workspace).
- Ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and implement process improvements.
- Flexibility for occasional travel to restaurant locations.
