Production Supervisor
The Aseptic Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting, coordinating, scheduling, and maintaining all manufacturing activities. This role also supervises employees engaged in component preparations, filling, capping, autoclaving, depy glass, compounding, filtration, lyophilization, and terminal sterilization of finished products.
Essential Functions
- Ensure systems and resources meet production schedules, product specifications, SOPs, cGMPs, and safety procedures.
- Supervise and instruct manufacturing staff to adhere to GMP, safety, SOPs, and policies.
- Review and update SOPs, deviations, and CAPAs; perform roles as directed by management.
- Supervise manufacturing group leaders and hourly staff in aseptic techniques and production processes.
- Oversee all hourly employees' performance and activities.
- Develop reports on scheduling, production, equipment, and maintenance issues.
- Coordinate training needs and monitor production schedules and data.
- Drive productivity and implement strategies from management.
- Communicate goals and updates to the team.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet deadlines.
- Develop and train department employees, build morale, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Manage resources to meet manufacturing needs.
- Support investigations and document corrections timely.
- Ensure team training and SOP compliance.
- Set up and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum: 4 years' experience in manufacturing, in a similar role, and managing people/projects.
- Preferred: 6 years' experience in the field, role, and management.
Experience may include a combination of work and education.
Competencies
- Proficiency with tools, equipment, and work aids, with expected levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree with PLC Programming and Electrical Maintenance certification or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Master's Degree in related fields.
