Job summary

Technology Resource Group, LLC in Kokomo, IN is seeking a Production Supervisor Automotive to oversee daily manufacturing operations on a shift basis in a fast-paced plant.

The role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork, with responsibilities including meeting production plans, leading teams, and driving Kaizen initiatives. You will coordinate with quality and maintenance, manage staffing, and ensure the proper use of safety tools and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as required
• Ability to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customers
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead teams
• Ability to coach/mentor/develop team members
• Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the production plan is met and drive continuous improvement within the area.
• Maintain a safe workplace and enforce safety procedures.
• Analyze losses during the shift and coordinate industrial activities to improve area performance.
• Proactively analyze quality KPIs and guide Team Leaders.
• Allocate personnel on the line and manage absenteeism.
• Mobilize support groups and resources for problem solving.
• Lead Kaizen projects focused on Safety, Cost, Quality and Throughput.

• Previous experience working in a union environment
• Experience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing
