Job summary

PS Seasoning is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage daily production schedules, monitor line performance, and ensure quality and safety. You will lead a team, coordinate cross-functional activities, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in ERP systems and ADP preferred. Multilingual collaboration is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • 2–5 years supervisory or leadership experience in production, preferably food manufacturing.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and ADP is a plus.
  • Fluent English; Spanish bilingual abilities are a plus for multilingual teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day production schedules and plant activities.
  • Ensure processes stay within timelines and maintain product quality.
  • Schedule employees to manage workload and projects.
  • Provide guidance to team and lead training initiatives.
  • Lead process improvements and maintain safety programs.
  • Conduct line and GMP audits and document results.

Position Summary:

This position requires a self-driven, well organized Production Supervisor who can exercise decision making skills and time management with little supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. This position reports to the Plant Manager. This position supports the company’s production facility with the responsibilities that are included below.

What you’ll do:
  • Oversee day-to-day production schedules, operational and plant activities
  • Ensure that operational processes stay within agreed upon timelines
  • Monitors product quality and line performance
  • Schedule employees to effectively manage workload and projects
  • Provide guidance and direction to team members to ensure a positive employee experience
  • Conduct and/or recommend training initiatives to enhance employee performance and development
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to gain operational efficiencies
  • Maintain safe work environment and participate in safety program development
  • Ensure product meets customer standards while obtaining fulfillment goals
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of machines to avoid downtime and delays
  • Assist in employee performance reviews
  • Comply with GMP, personal hygiene, HACCP and other quality and employee safety programs
  • Responsible for maintaining and enforcing all food safety, employee safety and quality policies and procedures
  • Conduct line audits and GMP audits, followed with appropriate documentation
  • Other duties as assigned
What we’re looking for:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college is preferred
  • 2 – 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a production environment, preferably in food manufacturing – ingredient blending experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ADP experience a plus
  • Experience working within an ERP system
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish bilingual abilities are a plus – in this role you will be working within multilingual teams
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact when working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects and adapt to changing deadlines
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
