THK Manufacturing of America, Inc. in Hebron, OH is seeking a Production Supervisor to guide daily manufacturing operations, promote safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement across multiple areas.

The ideal candidate will lead a shift, develop teams, solve problems proactively, and drive continuous improvement by coordinating workflow, monitoring performance, and ensuring schedules are met with available people, equipment, and resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience leading or supervising employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and production scheduling.
• Basic computer skills and experience with production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production team members to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
• Direct daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor workflow and make operational adjustments to maximize efficiency.
• Prioritize manufacturing orders and revise schedules as necessary due to equipment issues or changing priorities.
• Participate in daily production meetings and communicate production objectives to the team.
• Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, attendance, payroll, and equipment records.
• Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
• Communicate operational updates and concerns with leadership.

THK Manufacturing of America is seeking a motivated and results-driven Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement. This position is responsible for supervising production team members, coordinating workflow across multiple manufacturing areas, and ensuring production schedules are achieved through the effective utilization of people, equipment, and resources.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, develops team members, solves problems proactively, and drives continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop production team members to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable work environment.
• Conduct performance evaluations and assist employees with goal setting and development.
• Monitor attendance, address performance concerns, and administer corrective action when appropriate.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, promotions, transfers, and other staffing decisions.
• Train, mentor, and develop employees while maintaining accurate training records and skill matrices.

Production & Operations

• Direct daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Assign work and adjust staffing based on production demands.
• Monitor workflow and make operational adjustments to maximize efficiency.
• Prioritize manufacturing orders and revise schedules as necessary due to equipment issues or changing priorities.
• Participate in daily production meetings and communicate production objectives to the team.

Safety & Quality

• Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while prioritizing 5s3t.
• Verify equipment inspections and pre-operation checks are complete before production begins.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.
• Investigate quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

Communication & Administration

• Maintain accurate production, quality, attendance, payroll, and equipment records.
• Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
• Communicate operational updates and concerns with leadership.
