Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Supervisor to coordinate operations across production departments. You will ensure quality, cost efficiency, safety and customer satisfaction while planning assignments to maximize resource use. Collaborate with Engineering, Material Control and Quality Control to optimize methods, schedules and standards.

Maintain compliance and drive continuous improvement. Applicants should have 6–10 years of relevant experience, with 6+ years in a leadership role,

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant experience (required).
• 6+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Prior production leadership experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment (required).

Responsibilities

• Ensure production meets the goals of product quality, cost effectiveness, safe conditions, and customer satisfaction.
• Plan work assignments to achieve maximum utilization of manpower, materials, equipment, and facilities.
• Work with Engineering on new or revised methods, layouts, processes, and equipment to increase operating efficiency, reduce costs or improve quality.
• Work with Material Control on production schedules, parts, etc. Providing feedback on schedule status and needs for change.
• Work with Quality Control on maintenance and interpretation of quality standards.
• Communicate to management any changes or conditions which may affect production.
• Work with Human Resources on employee or labor relations matters.
• Assure compliance with plant rules, policies, safety standards and good housekeeping.
