Job summary

Venteon is seeking a Production Supervisor for a manufacturing facility in Fremont, OH. You will direct hourly staff, ensure safety, quality and on-time production, and maintain efficient operations.

You will address lean improvements, coach team members and uphold housekeeping standards. The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a union setting, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor

• Supervision of hourly employees and scheduling labor
• Ensures safety, quality, housekeeping, and production activities and objectives are being met
• Ensures that all equipment and material necessary to perform the job effectively and safely are in place.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to quality, production, safety, cost control, and employee relations.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts in scrap reduction, safety, and process improvements.
• Provide clear expectations and hold team members accountable while providing continual feedback.
• Provide associates with inspiration, direction & coaching to achieve work objectives.
• Develop team members accordingly.
• Promote, maintain, and develop lean manufacturing practices.
• Monitor and address output & productivity issues within assigned departments inclusive of meeting production targets, cycle time and product & process quality standards.
• Hold associates accountable for meeting Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives.
• Assist with administering training for associates.
• Perform and complete various audits as assigned.
• Hold team meetings to present line and company information.
