Description
Group O is seeking a Production Supervisor to assist in overseeing the operations within our Warehouses.
As a Production Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing operations to ensure the efficient production of high-quality services within established timelines and budgetary constraints. You will lead a team of production workers, coordinate workflow, and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and meet established targets. You will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and achieving targets while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and motivate production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a safe, efficient, and engaged workforce. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the production planning team to schedule production activities, allocate resources, and prioritize orders based on client requirements, inventory levels, and production capacity.
- Coordinate the flow of materials, equipment, and personnel to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. Monitor processes to identify bottlenecks, resolve issues, and ensure smooth workflow transitions.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain product quality and consistency. Conduct inspections, address non-conformances, and collaborate with quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and prevent defects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures to create a safe working environment for employees. Conduct regular safety inspections, promote safety awareness, and address any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
- Monitor production metrics, such as production output, cycle times, scrap rates, and downtime, to assess performance against targets. Analyze data to identify trends, evaluate performance drivers, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize production processes. Lead or participate in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement projects to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
- Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess inventory. Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and logistics efficiency.
- Coordinate maintenance activities for equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Schedule preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate repairs as necessary to minimize downtime.
- Communicate production goals, priorities, and performance metrics to the production team and management. Prepare regular reports on production activities, performance indicators, and key initiatives for management review.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 3 + years' experience in a production environment
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees
- Solid understanding of production processes, scheduling, and inventory management principles
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on prevailing workloads
- Possess on-call accessibility
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- Knowledge of quality management systems, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and process improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with manufacturing software or ERP systems
